The aim of this subject is to know various diseases and their clinical features, investigations and treatment. General Medicine in a dental college, students are made to conditions like understand Diabetes, Hypertension, infections etc. and some emergency conditions. It is also a very important subject for students to understand and deal with emergencies encountered during dental treatments.
A well-equipped Classroom, with audio & visual aid is facilitated. Students are taken on a visit for a clinical case to understand the diseases, its characteristics, how to investigate and treatment planning is made for the same.
