Physiology is a Greek word which literally means knowledge of nature. This word was used in times when physiology and philosophy were not much different. But currently physiology implies the study of the function of living organisms.
The department is taught by lectures and interactive session and is also supported by clinical physiology, haematology and biochemistry laboratories for the practical work of the subject.
The department of Physiology has an excellent infrastructure located at the 2nd floor, A-Block of KSD. With experienced faculty to aid teaching and research activities, physiology is taught to wide range of UG & PG students. The faculties use various teaching methodologies which are of immense benefits for the students.
